Scholarships

The Florida Strawberry Growers Association has awarded over 266 scholarships totaling $174,500 since 1983. Scholarship applications are ready for pick up or download beginning in June each year and are usually due the middle of September that same year.

Funds are generated from the best flat competition held each year. Growers enter their best strawberry flat, which is then judged. The top three flats are then auctioned off at the strawberry festival.
